What types of repairs can Certified Shops do?Updated 15 days ago

Apollo Scooters categorizes repairs into two levels to help you identify the service you need:

Level 1 Repairs

  • What they are: These are generally straightforward repairs that do not require in-depth diagnosis. They can typically be completed using pre-assembled replacement parts like assemblies.
  • Who they're for: If you already know exactly what part or service your scooter needs, a Level 1 repair is a good choice.
  • Where to find: The Service Locator tool will clearly indicate which partner shops offer Level 1 repairs.

Level 2 Repairs

  • What they are: These repairs are more complex and may require diagnostic assessments to identify the root cause of the issue.
  • Who they're for: Level 2 Certified Shops are specifically equipped and trained for advanced e-scooter repairs. They possess the necessary specialized tools and can perform diagnostics to pinpoint and fix more intricate problems.
  • Where to find: Look for Level 2 designation on the Service Locator for shops equipped for these advanced services.

Choosing the Right Certified Shop

When you need a repair, consult the Service Locator. It will clearly label shops by the repair levels they support. For less complex or maintenance procedures, a Level 1 shop will suffice. For issues that are harder to diagnose or require specialized attention, a Level 2 Certified Shop is recommended.

Need Help with Diagnosis?

If you're unsure about the type of repair your Apollo Scooter needs, you can contact the A-Team. By submitting a support ticket, you can receive assistance with diagnosing the issue before booking an appointment at a Certified Shop.

What kind of repair is not possible at a repair shop?
If it is found that a component is defective, the repair shop is authorized to replace the component. Due to the intricacy of certain components, repairs such as a bearing replacement on a motor is not offered. Should a bearing be deemed faulty, the entire motor is to be replaced.
