Warranty for Parts and Upgrade KitsUpdated 3 hours ago
What’s covered
- Spare parts and upgrade kits sold by Apollo are covered against manufacturing defects for a limited period after purchase. Coverage applies only to defects in materials or workmanship, not to damage from misuse, improper installation, wear, or unauthorised modifications.

Warranty length and labour
- Parts and upgrade kits are covered for up to 90 days from the date you purchase the part or kit, depending on the component and type of install. If Apollo determines a spare part is defective and it was installed by Apollo, Apollo will cover labour for repairs within 30 days of the part purchase; if you installed the part yourself, Apollo will cover only the part (not labour).

How coverage is decided
- Apollo inspects claims and retains sole discretion to determine whether a part or upgrade kit is defective and whether the claim is covered by the limited warranty. You must provide clear photos or video showing the defect as part of any warranty claim.

Exclusions that commonly apply to parts and upgrade kits
- The same exclusions as Apollo’s Limited Warranty apply to all spare parts and upgrade kits. Common exclusions include:
- Normal wear and tear (tyres, brake pads, grips, etc.).
 - Damage from improper installation, misuse, crashes, modification, water damage, commercial use, or use of unauthorised accessories or chargers.
 - Damage from improper tools, over-torqued or stripped screws, or loss of fasteners (specific examples called out for some upgrade kits).
 - Labour for customer-installed parts (except where Apollo installed the part and the defect is reported within the labour-coverage window).

Customer responsibilities for warranty claims
- Retain proof of purchase (order number and purchaser name).
 - Provide clear images and/or video demonstrating the claimed defect — Apollo requires photographic or video evidence before proceeding with assistance.
 - Ship parts (or the scooter if requested) in appropriate packaging — if you send items to Apollo for inspection or repair, shipping to Apollo is paid by the customer; Apollo may cover return shipping for approved warranty claims per the policy. Use of the original box is required when returning a scooter.

Using certified shops and third-party installers
- You may take parts or kits to an Apollo Certified Shop. Certified Shops can perform warranty repairs, charge standard diagnostic/hourly rates, and may bill you the difference if their rates exceed Apollo’s standard warranty rates. A Diagnostic Fee by the Certified Shop may apply even for warranty repairs.

If a part is found not to be covered
- If Apollo determines a part or upgrade kit failure is not covered (for example due to exclusion reasons), you will be responsible for part and labour costs and for return shipping.

How to make a warranty claim for parts or upgrade kits
- Submit a claim by emailing [email protected] and include:
- Original order number and purchaser name.
 - Description of the issue and additional helpful information.
 - Clear photos and/or video showing the defect.

 - If eligible, Apollo may either ship a replacement component (you normally pay shipping) or guide you to an Apollo Repair Centre / Certified Shop for repair.

Important notes
- Unauthorized parts or installations (including upgrades not sold by Apollo) typically void warranty coverage.
 - Shipping costs to Apollo for inspection/repair are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated in the policy; Apollo may cover return shipping for approved claims.
