Understanding Apollo’s 12 Month Limited Warranty vs. Extend Coverage

Overview

This article explains the differences between the Apollo 12 Month Limited Warranty and the extended warranty offered by Extend. Understanding these differences helps you make informed decisions about protecting your scooter beyond the first year.

Apollo 12 Month Limited Warranty

  • Covers a comprehensive range of repairs and issues for the first year after purchase.
  • If something goes wrong within the first year, Apollo will handle repairs for items covered under the limited warranty.

What Extend Coverage Offers

  • Extend provides additional coverage beyond Apollo’s standard warranty.
  • In the first year, Extend defers to Apollo for anything covered by the limited warranty.
  • From the second year onwards, Extend covers everything included in Apollo’s limited warranty plus additional items:
  • Flat tires
  • Water damage
  • Accidental damage
  • Extend also covers shipping costs, labour, and part costs for repairs after the first year.

Important Limitations

⚠️ Note: Apollo's Extended warranty does not apply to OB and Refurbished Scooters.

After the First Year

  • After 1 year, if you do not have Extend, you are responsible for all shipping, labour, and parts costs for repairs.
  • With Extend, these costs are covered for items included in their policy.
