Support After a Scooter Model Is DiscontinuedUpdated 8 hours ago
We’re committed to ensuring long-term support for every scooter model we produce. When a scooter model is discontinued, it does not mean support ends immediately. Apollo continues to provide full support for a minimum of 2 years after the model is no longer sold.
What You Can Expect
Even after a model is discontinued, you will continue to have access to:
- Replacement parts: Apollo parts remain available to help you maintain your scooter.
- Repair and maintenance services: Our service centers and authorized partners remain equipped to handle repairs and diagnostics.
- Software updates: Where applicable, firmware updates will continue to be available to ensure safety and performance.
- Customer support: Our Support team is ready to assist with technical questions, repairs, or part compatibility.
Retro-Compatible Parts Beyond 2 Years
Most newer Apollo models are now designed to be retro-compatible, meaning many components are shared across generations.
- This approach allows Apollo to keep important parts available beyond the initial 2-year window, since the same components can be used across multiple model iterations.
- After 2 years, parts availability depends on demand and inventory, but the goal is to keep commonly used components in stock as long as possible.
Examples of Key Parts
Many of the following parts are shared between model families and are good candidates to remain available longer term:
- Batteries
- Stem assemblies
- Handlebar assemblies
- Throttles
- Tires assemblies
- Brake components
- Folding hook hardware
Why This Matters for Your Scooter
Retro-compatibility and extended parts availability mean:
- Easier long-term maintenance and potential upgrades for your scooter.
- A longer practical lifespan for discontinued models, since core components can be replaced with parts from newer generations.
- Greater confidence when purchasing a current model, knowing that support often extends well beyond the official discontinuation date.
