Scooter Box Retention and Shipping Guidelines

Overview

This article explains the importance of keeping your scooter's original packaging and provides essential shipping instructions for warranty service.

Original Packaging Requirements

Your scooter arrives in a cardboard box with styrofoam inserts, sometimes double-boxed. Retain this packaging throughout the warranty period to facilitate potential warranty repairs.

📝 Note: Since March 2021, all boxes include a "Keep this box" label.

❗ Important: Warranty coverage will not apply to shipping damage resulting from improper packaging.

Shipping Instructions

Box Preparation

To avoid US Customs delays through UPS, choose one of these methods:

  1. Use an over-box to cover original box labels, or
  • Remove the "Class 9 Diamond" label from the original box

Proper Packaging Guidelines

  • Use original styrofoam inserts
  • Include all original packaging materials
  • Ensure secure and complete packaging

⚠️ Warning: Improper packaging may result in:

  • Serious damage during shipping
  • Safety risks for couriers and technicians
  • Additional handling fees
  • Potential warranty claim rejection

Additional Considerations

Damage Policy

Scooters arriving damaged at the repair centre due to improper packaging:

  • Will not be eligible for return
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs

Replacement Packaging

If original packaging materials are missing, Apollo will:

  • Add protective foam
  • Apply bubble wrap
  • Replace boxes if necessary
  • Add packaging material costs to repair invoice
