This article explains the importance of keeping your scooter's original packaging and provides essential shipping instructions for warranty service.
Original Packaging Requirements
Your scooter arrives in a cardboard box with styrofoam inserts, sometimes double-boxed. Retain this packaging throughout the warranty period to facilitate potential warranty repairs.
📝 Note: Since March 2021, all boxes include a "Keep this box" label.
❗ Important: Warranty coverage will not apply to shipping damage resulting from improper packaging.
Shipping Instructions
Box Preparation
To avoid US Customs delays through UPS, choose one of these methods:
- Use an over-box to cover original box labels, or
- Remove the "Class 9 Diamond" label from the original box
Proper Packaging Guidelines
- Use original styrofoam inserts
- Include all original packaging materials
- Ensure secure and complete packaging
⚠️ Warning: Improper packaging may result in:
- Serious damage during shipping
- Safety risks for couriers and technicians
- Additional handling fees
- Potential warranty claim rejection
Additional Considerations
Damage Policy
Scooters arriving damaged at the repair centre due to improper packaging:
- Will not be eligible for return
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
Replacement Packaging
If original packaging materials are missing, Apollo will:
- Add protective foam
- Apply bubble wrap
- Replace boxes if necessary
- Add packaging material costs to repair invoice
