Fixing Inverted Headlight and Stem light Controls on Phantom 2.0
Problem Description
On the Apollo Phantom 2.0 (both 52V and 60V versions), pressing the M button may toggle the stem light instead of the headlight—or vice versa. This issue usually occurs when the cables are inverted at the top of the stem.
Possible Causes
- Headlight and stem light cables are connected to the wrong ports at the top of the stem.
Solution
Step 1: Switch Cables at the Stem
- Remove the headset.
- Disconnect both the headlight cable and the stem light cable.
- Switch the two connections.
- Both cables are red.
- You can do this directly from the top of the scooter once the headset is removed.
- See the included picture for reference.

Step 2: Switch Cables at the Box Light Level (If Step 1 Doesn't Work)
- Switch the connections at the box light level.
- Follow the step-by-step instructions video here.
⚠️ Important: Both cables are red, so ensure you are switching the correct connections as shown in the reference image or video.
Verify the Fix
- Press the M button. The headlight and stem light should now toggle correctly according to their intended functions.
