Why Isn't My Promo Code Working?Updated 11 days ago
It’s frustrating when a discount doesn’t apply as expected. Usually, this is due to a small technical error or a specific promotion rule. Use this guide to identify the issue and get back to your purchase.
Quick Checklist (Start Here)
Before checking policies, ensure these three technical basics are covered:
- Case Sensitivity & Typos: Codes are often case-sensitive. Copy and paste the code to avoid mistaking "0" (zero) for "O" (letter).
- Extra Spaces: Ensure there are no hidden spaces before or after the code in the input box.
- One Code Limit: Our system only accepts one discount code per order. If an automatic discount is already applied, a manual code will not work.
Detailed Eligibility Requirements
If the code is entered correctly but still rejected, check if your cart meets these criteria:
| Requirement | What to Check |
|---|---|
| Product Eligibility | Is the code restricted to specific models (e.g., "City 2023 only") or categories (e.g., "Accessories only")? |
| Minimum Spend | Does the code require a minimum cart value (e.g., "Save $50 on orders over $500")? |
| Regional Store | Are you on the correct site? US codes will not work on the Canadian store ($CA), and vice versa. |
| Expiration Date | Has the sale ended? Most Apollo seasonal codes are limited-time offers. |
| Account Status | Some codes (like Referral or Loyalty rewards) require you to be logged into your Apollo account to work. |
Specific Program Rules
- Apollo Amplified (Loyalty): If you are redeeming "AMPS," ensure you have converted your points into a unique discount code via the Rewards dashboard first.
- Refurbished/Open Box: Most promo codes do not apply to "Certified Pre-Owned" or "Open Box" units as these are already heavily discounted.
