Scooter Battery Upgrade PossibilityUpdated 10 hours ago
Unfortunately, it is not possible to upgradfe the battery on Apollo scooters. The scooter’s components are designed to work together, and the battery is not compatible with other packs.
Why upgrades is not possible?
- Integrated design — The battery, motor controller, BMS (battery management system), and charging system are engineered to match each other.
- Voltage and electrical compatibility — Using a battery with a different voltage can damage the controller, motor, or electronics.
- Communication and safety — The scooter’s BMS and firmware often expect specific battery signals; mismatched communication can disable charging or cause unsafe operation.
- Physical fit and mounting — Replacement packs may not match dimensions, wiring, or mounting points.
- Warranty and certification — Installing a non-approved battery usually voids the warranty and may remove required safety certifications.
Important notes
- Do not install third-party or custom battery packs.
- Modifying the battery or electrical system can be dangerous and may cause fire, injury, or permanent damage to the scooter.
- If you need longer range and no approved upgrade exists, consider trading for a model with a larger battery or longer range from the factory.
