How to Adjust the Pro Suspension (Front and Rear)

Overview

This article explains how to adjust the front and rear suspension on your Pro scooter. You'll learn how to fine-tune both the spring and dampener on the front suspension, as well as how to properly set the rear suspension using the correct tools for optimal ride comfort and safety.

Before You Begin

  • You will need a 3/4" spanner wrench for the front spring adjustment.
  • You will need a 5mm Allen key for the rear suspension adjustment.

Solution

Adjusting the Front Suspension

The front suspension on the Pro scooter features both a spring and a dampener system.

Adjusting the Dampener

  1. Locate the red knob on the front suspension.
  2. To reduce the rebound force, turn the red knob clockwise.
  3. To increase the rebound force, turn the red knob counter-clockwise.

Adjusting the Spring

  1. Find the lower spring disk on the front suspension.
  2. Use a 3/4" spanner wrench to adjust the disk.
  3. To tighten the spring, turn the disk clockwise.
  4. To loosen the spring, turn the disk counter-clockwise.

💡 Tip: Using the correct size spanner wrench will make the spring adjustment process easier and prevent damage to the components.

Adjusting the Rear Suspension

The rear suspension consists of a rubber block and is adjusted using six grub screws at the bottom.

  1. Ensure the rear swing arm does not fall when the rear of the scooter is lifted; this is the correct tightness.
  2. Use a 5mm Allen key to adjust the six grub screws at the bottom of the rear suspension.
  3. To tighten the rear suspension, turn the grub screws clockwise.
  4. To loosen the rear suspension, turn the grub screws counter-clockwise.

⚠️ Note: Do not over-tighten the rear suspension. It should be tight enough to hold the swing arm in place, but not excessively tight.
