How to Handle a Failed Delivery Attempt
Overview
This guide explains what to do if you miss a delivery attempt for your order. You'll learn how to contact the courier, arrange for pickup, and understand your responsibilities to avoid additional fees.
Before You Begin
- Have your tracking number or delivery notice handy.
- Identify which courier (e.g., Canada Post, FedEx, UPS) attempted the delivery.
Steps
- Contact the Courier Directly: Reach out to the delivery service as soon as possible.
- Find their contact information on the delivery notice or the courier’s website.
- Request Delivery Details: Ask the courier for:
- The exact location where your package is being held.
- The hours of operation for the pickup facility.
- Any identification you need to bring for pickup.
- Options for rescheduling delivery or rerouting to a different pickup location.
- Arrange for Pickup or Redelivery:
- Visit the designated facility within the stated timeframe to collect your package, or arrange redelivery if available.
- If Your Order Is Marked "Returned to Sender":
- Contact Apollo support as soon as possible.
- The support team will explore available options, including the possibility of re-shipping your order.
- Be aware that you will be charged a re-ship fee if the order needs to be sent again.
💡 Tip: If you're unable to pick up your package, ask the courier about alternate pickup options or authorized representatives who can collect on your behalf.
⚠️ Note:
- It is your responsibility to arrange pickup at the designated facility.
- Apollo is not responsible for any return shipping fees if you do not receive your delivery or arrange for pickup.
- You will be charged a re-ship fee if your order is returned to sender and needs to be shipped again.
