Apollo Mile Madness 2026 — Challenge FAQUpdated 21 hours ago

What is Apollo Mile Madness?

Apollo Mile Madness (also called #AMM26) is a free summer riding challenge running from June 10 to July 12, 2026. Opt in once through the Apollo app or the landing page, and every ride you record earns 2× Amps (Apollo Amplified loyalty points) automatically. You're also entered for prizes that drop daily, weekly, and at the very end of the challenge.

How do I join?

Tap "Join the Challenge" in the Apollo app, or visit apolloscooters.co/pages/mile-madness-2026. It takes about 30 seconds, costs nothing, and no purchase is required. You only need to opt in once — the 2× Amps and prize eligibility apply automatically for the rest of the challenge.

Do I need to buy anything to participate?

No. Entry is completely free. No purchase is necessary to enter or win any prize.

Who is eligible?

  • Legal residents of the United States or Canada, 18 years of age or older
  • Must own an Apollo scooter and have the Apollo app installed
  • Apollo Scooters employees and their immediate family members are not eligible
  • The promotion is void where prohibited by law

What are the prizes?

There are three prize tiers:

PrizeHow to winValue
Daily hoodiePost a photo, video, or ride tagged #AMM26 on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or Reddit — one winner drawn randomly every day~$75 USD / $100 CAD
Weekly $500 gift cardMost kilometres recorded in the app during the weekly period (Wed 12:01 AM – Tue 11:59 PM EST)$500 USD or CAD (based on your country)
Grand prize: Apollo Pro scooterLog at least 100 km during the full challenge period — winner selected by random drawLast known retail value: $2,449 USD / $3,299 CAD

How does the daily hoodie draw work?

Post a ride, photo, or video tagged #AMM26 on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or Reddit. One eligible post counts as one daily entry. Winners are drawn randomly at the end of each day (Friday/Saturday/Sunday posts are drawn the following Monday). Once you've won a daily hoodie, you're excluded from future daily draws — but you remain eligible for the weekly and grand prizes.

How does the weekly leaderboard work?

The rider with the most kilometres recorded in the Apollo app during the weekly period wins the $500 gift card. The leaderboard resets every Tuesday at 11:59 PM EST. In the event of a tie, the prize goes to whoever reached that distance first based on ride timestamps. You can follow the live leaderboard at riders.apolloscooters.co/leaderboards/june-2026.

How do I qualify for the grand prize?

Log at least 100 km cumulatively via the Apollo app during the challenge period. Once you hit that threshold, you're automatically entered into the grand-prize random draw. Everyone who qualifies has an equal chance of winning — logging more than 100 km does not increase your odds.

What is the grand prize?

One of the last Apollo Pro electric scooters ever made — a limited, retired model no longer available for purchase. Last known retail value: $2,449 USD / $3,299 CAD.

Does riding more give me a better chance at the grand prize?

No. The grand prize is a random draw among all participants who logged 100+ km. You do not get additional entries by logging more kilometres beyond the 100 km minimum.

What counts as a recorded ride?

All ride data must be captured through the official Apollo app. Rides entered manually or tracked through third-party apps are not eligible.

How does the 2× Amps bonus work?

All opted-in participants automatically earn double Amps (Apollo Amplified loyalty points) on every ride recorded in the app from the moment they opt in through July 12, 2026. No extra steps are needed.

How will I know if I won?

Winners are notified by email at the address linked to their Apollo app account. You have 72 hours to reply and confirm acceptance of your prize. Failure to respond within that window results in automatic forfeiture and a new winner may be selected.

When and how are prizes delivered?

Prizes are issued within 5 business days of confirmation. Gift cards are delivered by email. Physical prizes (hoodie and Apollo Pro scooter) are shipped to the address provided by the winner. Winners may be required to sign a Release of Liability, Declaration of Eligibility, and/or answer a skill-testing question.

I live in Québec — is there anything different for me?

Yes. Under RACJ rules, Québec residents who are selected in a random draw must correctly answer a mandatory mathematical skill-testing question sent by email within 72 hours to claim their prize. French-language rules are available upon request at [email protected].

Can I participate if I'm outside the US or Canada?

No. The challenge is open only to legal residents of the United States and Canada.

Are prizes transferable or exchangeable for cash?

No. Prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable, and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available.

Can I use multiple accounts to get more entries?

No. Each participant is limited to one account and one opt-in. Apollo Scooters may disqualify anyone suspected of manipulating ride data, using multiple accounts, or submitting fraudulent entries.

Can I still join if the challenge has already started?

Yes — you can opt in at any time during the Promotion Period (June 10 – July 12, 2026). Rides recorded before you opt in do not count retroactively.

Where are the full terms and conditions?

Notes for review:

  • The "can I still join mid-challenge?" answer is inferred from how the T&C are written (no retroactive rides) but isn't explicitly stated — may want to confirm internally before publishing.
  • The leaderboard URL (https://riders.apolloscooters.co/leaderboards/june-2026) is live as of today — worth verifying it stays active post-challenge end.
  • If Alex should deflect prize dispute/disqualification questions to a human, add a handover condition for "suspected of cheating" or "prize forfeited" intents.
