UL2271 +UL2272 ( From Sept 2023 onwards, does not include City Reg)
All UL-certified scooters will have a UL sticker on the underside of the deck, this will be confirmation that your scooter is UL certified. No further documentation is available.
The New York UL certification requirements have come into effect at the end of August 2023. The certification needed to sell scooters in New York will be UL-2271 and UL-2272.
Scooter bought before this period can still be used and ridden without any issues.
The rest of the USA does not require this certification. It is recommended but not required.
Certification is acquired by an ISO17065 lab.
