Sharing the PIN with the New Owner (After Sale)

  • PIN Sharing Requests: New owners can request the scooter PIN directly through the Apollo app. The original owner will receive an email notification and can either accept or decline the request to share the PIN. This ensures a secure transfer for both parties.

    • Important Note: The PIN cannot be shared for scooters that are reported stolen. This policy protects the original owner's rights and ensures the security of the scooter.

    • Stolen Scooter Policy: If the scooter is reported as stolen, we cannot provide the PIN to the new owner. The purchaser is solely responsible for conducting due diligence to verify that the scooter has not been reported as stolen before the ownership process is complete.

If You Cannot Provide Proof of Purchase
If you are the new owner and don’t have proof of purchase, we will contact the original owner to verify the details of the sale.

  • Waiting for a Response: If we don’t hear back from the original owner within 30 days and the scooter is not reported as stolen, we will proceed with providing the PIN to the new owner, completing the transfer of ownership.
