When we create and print a shipping label for your order, you receive an automated email notifying you of your tracking number. When you first receive your tracking number, it may look like this:
This is completely normal! Our tracking numbers take some time to appear as valid in UPS' system and often don't show up until they are scanned at a UPS facility, usually in the evening.
Until your package is scanned by the carrier, issues like this can occur, especially during periods of high shipping volume when packages are processed in bulk. The carrier may not acknowledge receipt of the package until this initial scan, causing a delay in updates to the tracking database.
