Yes, in our new scooters (Apollo Air, Apollo City and Apollo Phantom, Apollo GO and Apollo Pro), we have built-in temperature sensors to ensure that your scooter will not freeze.
The ideal temperature to operate our e-scooters is between 32°F/0°C and 95°F/35°C.
Riding below 32°F/0°C will lower the battery charge (lower range) and above 95°F/35°C may lead to overheating of the motor(s).
If your motor is overheating, the solution is to simply wait 5 minutes for it to cool down, and then it should run again. A motor will shut off if it overheats to protect itself, which is normal.
In newer scooters such as the Apollo Air, Apollo City, Apollo Phantom, Apollo GO and Apollo Pro, there is a built-in temperature sensor to ensure that your scooter will not overheat. This temperature measurement is available within the mobile app in the ride logs section.
For optimal battery performance and health, we recommend not riding or storing your scooter in temperatures below 32°F/0°C.
Those temperatures are available within the mobile app, in the ride logs section.
